The event is a 16-mile bike ride along northern Brunswick County’s Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor from Phoenix Park in Navassa (2726 Mt Misery Rd NE, Navassa, NC 28451) to Belville Riverwalk Park and back. Various age groups and experience levels of cyclists are welcome to participate in this ride but must be able to ride 16 miles at a casual pace. Helmets are required and cyclists should give their bicycle a thorough safety inspection prior to the event.
Register for the ride beginning 8/7/24! Preregistration will be open through Friday, September 27 at noon or until 250 register. Registration will still be available in person day of the ride.
Check-in is from 6:45 am to 7:15 am at Phoenix Park and cyclists will depart at 7:30 am. There will be a 20-30 minute break at Belville Riverwalk Park before beginning the return half of the ride.
